CARE Membership and Donations
All of the projects and services provided by CARE are supported by membership contributions, bequests, and grants.
Our continued strength depends upon the generosity of our members and donors. Therefore, we greatly appreciate any kind of donation you can give.
Wish List
In addition to monetary and volunteer contributions, Colorado Animal Rescue also has a specific “Wish List” of requests for donations that will immediately benefit the animals in our care and help us meet the needs created by our day-to-day operations. Click here to learn more.
Donation Levels
- Friend: $50 or more a year
- 365 Club: $365 or more a year
- Angel: $1,000 a year or more
All donations are tax deductible and Estate Planning assistance is also available. Colorado Animal Rescue accepts donations of any size regardless of the amount. To make a donation to CARE please call (970) 947-9173 or donate online now.
Monthly and Quarterly Donations

Memorial and Honorary Donations
If you would like to make a donation as a gift, or contribute in memory of a friend, loved one or pet, please let us know so that we can include their names in our next newsletter.
The Thumper Fund
Named in honor of Thumper, a cat who required three surgeries before being adopted, this is our special emergency medical fund. Every donation to this fund helps us care for ill and injured animals.
Planned Giving
Colorado Animal Rescue has a number of options available for planned giving. Planned giving can have significant tax benefits for you, your family, or your estate. We recommend that you explore your options with one of our staff members to ensure that both you and the animals receive the full benefit of your gift. Our planned gift options include:
- Life Insurance Gifts – You can make CARE a beneficiary of a life insurance policy
- Retirement Plans – Donate the interest of an IRA or other retirement plan to CARE
- Bequests from your will
