Kathy has been a member of the  Roaring Fork Valley community since 1983 after moving here from Illinois. She retired in 2020 after spending her entire career in the hospitality industry. Before joining the C.A.R.E.staff, Kathy was and continues to be an amazing volunteer for over 10 years in cat enrichment and at events.

She lives in Carbondale with her husband and two cats Matthew and Mickey who were adopted from C.A.R.E. several years ago.
