Lisa has been following her calling to work with animals in need since 2009, when she moved from her home state of Massachusetts to Kanab, Utah to work for Best Friends Animal Society. She began as an adoption coordinator before moving on to the Development Team where she was able to use her background in marketing to help elevate the Best Friends brand and raise funds through corporate partnerships. In 2017 Lisa moved to Glenwood Springs, her husband’s hometown, and gained experience and created local connections while managing a veterinary clinic, working for a local foundation, and acting as a community engagement coordinator until returning to animal welfare. She has also volunteered with C.A.R.E. for as long as she has been in the Valley.
Lisa shares her home with her husband, two senior dogs, and three cats.
