Join C.A.R.E. and Two Rivers Unitarian Universalist (TRUU) for a joyful outdoor celebration of beloved animal companions on Saturday, October 11 from 10-11am at the shelter. Bring your pets (on leash or in carriers) to receive an individual blessing from TRUU, who will also hold space to honor the memory of animals we’ve loved and lost.

TRUU is collecting donations to support our shelter pets. High-need items include flat sheets, thin blankets, and new (or gently used) leashes and toys. Dog and cat treats are appreciated, and will also be shared with community members accessing our Pet Food Pantry. Any type of unopened pet food in its original packaging is also gratefully accepted.

Please bring your own chair if you’d like to sit during the service. Parking is available at C.A.R.E., the CMC Vet Tech Ranch, and the CMC Soccer Fields (see map below).
