Adoptions and Intake Coordinators

Full-Time:

The full-time Adoptions and Intake Coordinator position is a lead role that will be responsible for overseeing a busy office environment.  Duties include offering outgoing and friendly customer service, database input, tracking, and reporting, marketing shelter pets, managing social media accounts, and overseeing animal adoption, intake, and lost & found reporting.  The ideal candidate will have strong leadership and management skills.  This position also works closely with a team of employees to provide daily care to our shelter pets and assists in general shelter maintenance.   

Part-Time:

The part-time Adoptions and Intake Coordinator will work alongside a team of employees providing assistance to the public, helping connect pets to their people, and maintaining records and inventory.  This position will also contribute to daily care of the shelter pets and general maintenance.   

Transportation and weekends required.

Canine Behavior Consultant

Colorado Animal Rescue in Glenwood Springs is looking for a Canine Behavior Consultant!  This individual will assist in the behavior needs of the shelter canine population.  This includes evaluating behavior, creating individual behavior plans, increasing adoptability through basic manners and training, and supporting an enrichment program to keep our population happy and healthy.  The Canine Behavior Consultant will work alongside our current canine behavior team, as well as with select adopters, and our community’s pets.   Shelter experience a plus!
