C.A.R.E. MEDICAL PROGRAM FOR OWNED PETS
Our shelter medical program provides lower-cost services to our pet-owning community members who would otherwise be unable to access basic care for their pets. Services include vaccinations, microchips, testing, and nail trims (see pricing below).
Medical services do not include exams and should not take the place of routine visits and additional care with a pet’s regular veterinarian.
Appointments are typically available on Thursdays between the hours of 10:00 and 11:00 and will be dependent on availability and services requested.
To get started, click the ‘Request Medical Services’ button below. Once your form has been completed and submitted, our team will give you a call to get you scheduled. Up to 5 pets can be added per request form. If you’re unsure of what vaccinations your pet is due for, our medical team can help at the time of your appointment (be sure to bring along any current medical records).
Payment is due at time of appointment, cash and credit cards accepted (sorry, no checks).
Cats need to arrive in a carrier and dogs should stay in your car until check-in is completed.

SPAY/NEUTER VOUCHERS
Spaying or neutering can help pets live longer and healthier lives, may help with a pet’s behavior, is a cost effective alternative to litters of puppies and kittens, and helps reduce the overpopulation of shelter pets.
C.A.R.E. offers $50 vouchers to go towards the cost of spay/neuter at your regular veterinarian. Vouchers are available to residents and vet clinics in Garfield County. Get your appointment scheduled, then give us a call! Our team will get your information and appointment details, and send the voucher directly to the clinic.
