The C.A.R.E. Pet Food Bank is in place to assist low-income pet-owners or those experiencing hardship within Garfield County. Food is available at the shelter (as available). By supplementing food during times of extreme need, we hope to decrease the amount of animals surrendered due to the cost of proper nutrition. If you are in need of pet food assistance, please call us at 970-947-9173 to make arrangements.
Our Pet Food Bank is operated on a first-come, first-serve basis, and is dependent on available supplies. It is run entirely on donations of pet food (we will also accept kitty litter) and on the financial support of the community. Food donations and sponsorships are greatly appreciated and always needed. If you would like to give to our Pet Food Bank, please contact our office.
