We will kick things off with Carbondale’s 2nd annual PRIDE PARADE! Everyone is welcome to attend and/or join in. The parade will start at Main/2nd Street at 5:30PM and travel to The Family Block Party at 4th Street Plaza. Be on the lookout for a special performance by Bonedale Flashmob!

Enjoy live music all night from the Andy Zanca Youth Empowerment Program stage! Special performances by the Carbondale Middle School and Roaring Fork High School jazz and band groups.

Enjoy balloon animals and a bounce house courtesy of the Town of Carbondale, CO Parks and Recreation and arts & crafts by HANDMAKERY and the Carbondale Creative District. We—ll have great local vendors supplying a variety of information and activities for the kiddos. And, of course meet some of Colorado Animal Rescue‘s sweetest adoptables!

Admission is FREE with a suggested donation at the door! Be sure to bring a can or two of food for LIFT-UP! Cash bar with local cocktails and brews as well as Slow Groovin’ BBQ will be on-hand for purchase.

There is something for everyone at THE FAMILY BLOCK PARTY during First Fridays Carbondale – May 1st! 100% of the proceeds benefit local youth and family organizations/programming, valley recreation, and our local animal shelter. For more information please email [email protected].
