Transport Questions

During the event of a wildfire, we may ask volunteers to drive animals to various other facilities in different parts of Colorado, using either your own vehicle or one of our shelter vans. Transfer locations will vary depending on what shelters and rescues can help. This could be anywhere from Rifle to Denver.

If you are open to using your own vehicle for transport needs, please list Make and Model of your vehicle. If you cannot use your own vehicle or don't think it would be appropriate for traveling long distances, please leave blank.

Foster Care Questions

C.A.R.E. may need help temporarily housing evacuated animals in foster homes during a fire. These may be shelter animals, or owned animals that were evacuated in our area. The timeframe for foster will depend on the status of the fire and length of evacuation. If foster is needed and you are not already an established foster home for C.A.R.E., we will have you fill out a short foster care application at the time of foster.

Please list all pets in the home including name, species, breed, age, and gender(Required)

Ex.: Sadie, dog, Boxer, 2 years old, female Milo, cat, Siamese, 6 years old, male

Please list the ages of all children in the home(Required)

Ex.: 6 years and 14 years
