School Field Trips – Colorado Animal Rescue welcomes small groups (max 15 students) for tours of the facility for approximately 30 minutes-1 hour. Limit of one visit per day. Appropriate for students aged 5 years and older. Tours include a history of the shelter and explanation of what we do, a tour of the animal areas, and animal interaction if possible. Depending on the age of the students, we may also read a story. Please note that the animal interaction may be limited based on the age of the children. Groups are encouraged to collect toys/treats for shelter animals, make diy toys or beds, or raise money for the animals and bring their donations to the shelter at the time of their tour. If you need fundraising or diy project ideas, please email our Programs Director at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Tours can be scheduled Monday-Friday between the hours of 10:30 and 4:30. We do not offer weekend tours at this time.
