Cowboy Up Carbondale brings together neighbors, local businesses, and community members for an evening of live music, great food, friendly bidding, and hometown fun. We’re honored that Colorado Animal Rescue (C.A.R.E.) has been chosen as this year’s beneficiary.

Whether you’re coming for the music, the barbeque, the auctions, or simply to catch up with neighbors, Cowboy Up brings people together for an evening that’s equal parts fun, fundraising, and community spirit. This family-friendly event helps raise funds that stay local, helping pets receive the care, support, and second chances they deserve.

What to Expect

Live Music

Enjoy live music from the valley’s own Highway 82 as they bring their blend of country, rock, and crowd favorites to Cowboy Up.

Slow Groovin BBQ

Come hungry! Food will be available for purchase from Slow Groovin BBQ throughout the evening.

Cash Bar

Beer and wine will be available for purchase by ticket, with non-alcoholic beverages available as well. Raise a glass to local pets, local people, and a great Carbondale tradition.

Silent & Live Auctions

Bid on unique experiences, local goods, gift packages, artwork, outdoor adventures, and more. Every bid helps support animals and families in our community.

Supporting Local Pets & Families

C.A.R.E. is thrilled to have been selected as the 2026 Cowboy Up beneficiary!

Funds raised through Cowboy Up will help us continue providing shelter, medical care, adoption services, and resources that keep pets and people together. In addition to finding homes for homeless pets, we offer pet food assistance, community veterinary services, behavior support, and other programs designed to help pets remain safely with the families who love them.

By attending Cowboy Up, you’re helping ensure that pets throughout the Roaring Fork Valley have access to the care, support, and second chances they deserve.

A limited number of VIP Sponsor Tables are available for businesses, families, and groups looking to enjoy the event while providing additional support for local pets.  Each table seats 8-10 people includes food and 10 drink tickets for your guests.
