Some pet poems from local students to brighten your day

 In featured

Some very special 4th grade students at Glenwood Elementary School recently took the time to create poems about our adoptable animals! While most of the animals they wrote about have found their forever homes (yay!), the poems truly brightened our day and we wanted to share them with you! Their learning target was to write a high quality poem about an adoptable shelter animal to inspire change in their community. The 4th Grade students at GSES studied the characteristics of poetry and were inspired to write poetry about the animals at C.A.R.E., and we couldn’t be happier with the results! The staff and fur friend friends at Colorado Animal Rescue would like to say a huge thank you to all of the students in Mrs. Allen, Mrs. Jessica, and Mr. Wallis’s classes!
