Adopted C.A.R.E. Cat, Guinness, Tells His Story

 In News

In the fall of 2012 a beautiful Flame Point Siamese named Guinness (pictured below) was surrendered to Colorado Animal Rescue. He was a happy senior cat, but wasn—t getting along with a dog in a recent transition to a new home. We advertised Guinness in the Post Independent and with a stroke of luck, his fate returned him to his forever family! Soon to be published, Guinness shares this remarkable story in How Guinness Found His Family, a memoir by Kathleen Barger.

We—re very proud to announce that proceeds from this children—s book will benefit Colorado Animal Rescue. The book—s official release and signing will be held at our upcoming fundraiser, Dressed to the K9s, September 15th, 2018. A very special thank you to Kathleen for her dedication to Guinness and all shelter animals who will benefit through the telling of his tale.
