Snowshoe Shuffle 2026: Small but Mighty on the Mountain

This past weekend, 19 dedicated racers gathered at Sunlight Mountain Resort for our annual Snowshoe Shuffle, taking on the snowy trails of Babbish Gulch with heart, determination, and plenty of winter spirit.

Starting at 8,000 feet and climbing 1,000 feet in elevation, participants braved fresh snow and crisp mountain air — some alongside their four-legged companions. Whether racing for a personal best or simply enjoying the experience, each participant helped make the day something special.

While this year’s event was intentionally small, its impact was meaningful. Thanks to our racers, sponsors, and supporters, we raised $1,300 for shelter pets in need. That support helps C.A.R.E.:

🏡 Offer a safe, warm place for animals who have nowhere else to go
💉 Support community programs that help keep pets healthy and in their homes
🤝 Strengthen the bond between people and pets in our valley
